Q & A panel...
We have recently hit two milestones, in just our first year, that will without question propel us into place to be DFW’s Transgender Resource Mecca.
We are proud to announce not only the grand opening of our Resource Center and Thrift Store in Haltom City on January 17th, 2020 but also our partnering with Trans-Cendence International to help achieve our goals.
What this means for us-
We will now be able to provide MULTIPLE resources for the DFW Transgender community under ONE roof.
Our center is modest, but this is not our forever home. It IS what will fire the engines and get us moving towards a new home.
It also means more volunteer hands on deck to answer the calls for resource needs for a faster response time.
For far too long, Tarrant County has been severely lacking in Transgender related resources. With Dallas trans-assistive programs overloaded and members of our trans community here in Fort Worth doing without these resources, we can no longer ignore this deficit.
With the help of other local Transgender organizations, we aim to turn that
For far too long, Tarrant County has been severely lacking in Transgender related resources. With Dallas trans-assistive programs overloaded and members of our trans community here in Fort Worth doing without these resources, we can no longer ignore this deficit.
With the help of other local Transgender organizations, we aim to turn that tide by being the change that is needed.
Our resources will be open to all SOFFA's (Significant Other's, Family, Friends and Allies of the trans community)
as well as any and all individuals under the "T" umbrella seeking fellowship with other community members or needing assistance of any kind.
